Aerotek Production Assembler in Carlsbad, California

NOW HIRING A PRODUCTION ASSOCIATE FOR A MEDICAL DEVICE COMPANY!

Location - Carlsbad, CA

Shift - 2nd shift (1PM - 9:30PM)

Pay - $20-22/HR depending on experience!

Job Description:

• Carry out Standard Operating Procedures involved in high efficiency manufacturing, visual inspection, material handling and inventory control.

• Operate various equipment such as a semi-automated equipment, vacuum sealers, press, label applicator, scales and temperature-controlled devices.

• Complete all batch records and manufacturing documents according to quality systems standards as required.

• Complete production schedule to plan and maintain sufficient output levels measured on an hourly basis.

• Raise equipment issues to the maintenance team

• Maintain accurate inventory of products and inventory records using an online material resource planning tool and or E1.

• Use our inventory management system (E1) to perform labor hour issuing and completion of WO

• Train other team members on techniques and processes

• Perform line lead duties such as setup, delegation of roles within process and provide troubleshooting

• Require passing of all written proficiency requirement related to the processes

• Semi-routine work situations of limited scope and complexity where ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice is required

• Able to work safety with chemicals and hazardous material

• Flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed.

• Able to stand for an extended period of time performing repetitive motions.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Some experience in a manufacturing-based environment

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices

• Experience with ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and/or GMP manufacturing environment

• Working knowledge of Microsoft based software such as MS Word and Excel.
