A thriving food services organization in Carlsbad is on the hunt for an insightful and analytical Financial Analyst to join their team. This role will contribute to the company’s continued success by building financial models, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.

• Conduct variance analysis, identifying and communicating trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.

• Collaborate with operations and sales teams to assess business performance and provide recommendations for improvements.

• Create detailed reports and dashboards to monitor KPIs and improve decision-making processes.

• Assist with strategic initiatives such as pricing optimization, cost-saving measures, and market expansion projects.

• Support month-end close processes with detailed financial reporting and reconciliations.

  Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, or related roles.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) is a big plus.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex data in a clear, actionable way.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required.
