An Automotive Client in Carlsbad is looking for a dependable Accounting Clerk to manage various transactional accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive accounting or dealership operations, be detail-driven, and enjoy reconciling financial data. Key Responsibilities:

• Post daily cash receipts, vendor payments, and customer account transactions.

• Process accounts payable invoices and ensure correct coding and approval.

• Reconcile bank accounts, dealership transactions, and other financial records.

• Maintain up-to-date files for all accounting documentation.

• Assist with accounts receivable by preparing invoices and following up on payments.

• Balance the general ledger and prepare routine reports for management.

• Provide additional support to the accounting team during month-end closing and audits.

  Requirements

• 1-2 years of accounting clerk or dealership accounting experience, preferred but not required.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Familiarity with automotive industry processes and dealership management systems is a plus.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in accounting is a bonus.
