Demolition Superintendent

Homrich has been an industry leader providing demolition and environmental services to clients throughout the Midwest since 1964. We are seeking a qualified Demolition Superintendent. This is a great opportunity for an experienced, self-motivated individual who is interested in working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

· Must have 3 to 4 years of experience in supervising demolition projects

· Must be able to analyze problems and make sound decisions in a timely manner based on objectives, risks, implications and costs

· Must possess strong written, oral and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

· Coordinate and supervise all construction/demolition activities

· Direct all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with safe, quality workmanship that conforms to the original work plan and specifications

· Order materials/equipment and schedule inspections as necessary throughout the project

· Maintain a positive relationship with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees

· Promote job site safety, encourage safe work practices and rectify job site hazards immediately

· Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy

· Maintain direct communication with the main office as necessary to report job progress, injuries, accidents, etc.

· Prepare and maintain all required field documentation: i.e. daily sign in sheets, daily reports, incident reports, tool box safety sign in sheets, etc.
