Job Description (Bonuses Offered for Reliability)

General labor and production of coffee cherries from the farmers. This is not a harvesting or picking position; it is a labor-intensive production role. The job involves scaling, processing, and milling the beans. Candidates must be capable of lifting 100# bags of coffee cherries all day long. Regular and timely attendance is required. The role also involves grading coffee beans and maintaining positive work relationships with local farmers and co-workers. Safety in using sharp objects and maintaining a neat and clean workspace are essential.

Milling is a crucial post-harvest step in coffee production, involving the removal of various layers of the cherry to extract the seeds. Wet milling is performed after harvesting, while dry milling occurs once the green coffee reaches the optimal moisture content for export.
