Job Description Summary:The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position will provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians. Recruiter:Tami Morgan/ tami.morgan@airgas.com __Are you a MATCH? Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications High school diploma 2 - 3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred. Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment Preferred Qualifications Air Separation Plant or related industrial experience is a plus. Refrigeration - A basic understanding of refrigeration systems is a plus Electrical/ Instrumentation background is a plus.
