Engineering Co-op Program The Engineering Co-op Program is a rotational assignment for full-time students who plan to work for three to five semester terms while completing their Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline. The co-op will work 40 hours per week in an assigned engineering department where they willbe exposed to The Timken Company'svarious products, processes, and teams. Following their first term, the co-op can request to select a defined career development path including:

  • Engineering: This path rotates through selected engineering departments (Design, Application, R&D) at The Timken Company's World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio.
  • Manufacturing: This path occurs at one of The Timken Company's USA manufacturing facilities and focus on supply chain, lean, quality, and process engineering.
  • Sales Engineering: This path can rotate through sales support, field sales, marketing, and business management at The Timken Company's World Headquarters in North Canton, Ohio. Italso includes one or more semesters working in a field sales office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Real work experience through rotational assignments at a world-class employer.

Educational Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Must have completed freshman year.
  • Must be enrolled in a full-time engineering Bachelor's Degree program (12 semester/credit hours) at an accredited four-year university.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.
  • Ability to relocate.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States withoutvisa sponsorship.
