• Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems to ensure seamless operations.

• Maintain fabrication machines and welding to torch cutting and light carpentry, embrace a range of maintenance functions as needed.

• Proactive Maintenance: Execute preventive maintenance according to schedules to keep operations running smoothly.

• Machinery Maestro: Install, maintain, repair, and rebuild complex machine tools, special purpose machines, and plant equipment with minimal supervision.

• Problem Solving: Disassemble malfunctioning equipment, assess repair needs, and expertly repair, refit, or replace worn or defective parts.

• Heavy Duty Expertise: Conduct all required maintenance on heavy machinery and contribute to building maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Promote and uphold safety protocols

• Diagnose and trouble-shoot issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Conduct fabrication, welding, torch cutting, light carpentry, and other maintenance tasks as needed

• Execute preventive maintenance as per schedule

• Install, troubleshoot, and overhaul complex machine tools, special purpose machines, and plant equipment with minimal supervision

• Dismantle malfunctioning equipment, assess repair needs, and replace or refurbish worn or faulty parts

• Perform comprehensive maintenance on heavy machinery and handle building maintenance responsibilities

• Demonstrate proficiency in understanding hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, as well as interpreting mechanical blueprints and schematics

• Conduct welding and fabrication tasks

• Complete additional responsibilities as delegated

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• working in a non-temperature controlled environment

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 10 hours at one time

• working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
