DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Position Title: Manager Property Management Operations-Contract Operations (M2)

Role: The Manager oversees a large and dynamic group of professionals including Commencement, and Data Integrity teams. The Manager oversees the design and implementation of process and reporting to ensure that data is properly maintained in Crown's ERP system to result in accurate billing, payments, P&L, Balance Sheet and Lease Accounting entries. The Commencement team is primarily responsible for abstracting data points from executed legal documentation and entering the information into the Corporate Recurring Billing system.  Data Integrity teams are primarily responsible for ensuring accuracy of the monthly escalation, data corrections, and the reconciliation processes as well as monthly quality reporting, trend reporting analysis and data quality projects.

Responsibilities * Works together with the Director and other Managers to set tactical and strategic direction for the group while gaining consensus and ensuring synergies with other functional areas. * The Manager will build effective teams and develop the talent of their group ensuring that Supervisors have the skills and tools necessary to be successful and perform the job. * Coaches others through asking the right questions to stimulate critical thinking, analyzing information and evaluating alternatives to solve problems despite incomplete or ambiguous information. * Regularly reviews training needs and ensures that employees are trained to adequately perform responsibilities. * Provides the overall direction and perspective, managing the complexity of process flow through Contract Operations as well as upstream and downstream impacts of the process as it relates to other groups that utilize recurring data. * Provides critical business insights to special projects related to the overall department including large portfolio integration projects, data uploads, intercompany lease administration, and process development. * Ensures processes for complicated financial transactions are properly integrated into existing systems and works with the Business Performance team when additional system enhancements are required. * Manages the Quality Assurance processes including weekly and monthly reporting to ensure that errors and omissions are corrected accurately and in a timely manner. Proactively seeks out new methods to check and report on data quality. Provides meaningful commentary for Operational Review reports and associated monthly meeting. * Maintains proactive and positive relationships with Area, CC Real Estate, Corporate Sales, Client Services, Property Teams, IT, and Accounting through regular communication, process bulletins, and other methods while maintaining service level commitments with business partners to meet monthly targets. * Works with the Director of the group and other Managers to ensure that Sox process controls and narratives are accurate, updated and controls are always being maintained.

Expectations   * Excellent PC skills - MS Office (advanced Excel functions) * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Has a highly technical and thorough knowledge of ERP system tables and field usage. * Working knowledge of Real Estate Contract terms.

Education/Certifications  * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Real Estate, Legal or a related discipline preferred MBA a plus

Experience/Minimum Requirements  * Five (5) years accounting, real estate and/or related experience * Five (5) years management experience * Previous experience working with Accounting, Real Estate and Legal

Reports to: Director, Property Management 

Title(s) of direct reports (if applicable): Supervisor Operations   Working Conditions: This role falls into our hybrid work model working in the office on Monday through T ursday.  On Fridays, teammates on the hybrid schedule will have the option to work from the office or home.  There is an expectation of collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter that could require travel.
