FREMONT COUNTY Front Desk Clerk in CANON CITY, Colorado

Position: Front Desk Clerk

Duties: This position handles client-facing duties as well as general office management tasks and non-routine clerical duties. This multi-function position acts as a liaison between customers and Department employees, ensuring customers are routed to the appropriate worker, unit, or community resource. This position is responsible for processing applicants through the Colorado Benefit Management System (CBMS) Application Initiation, EBT Card issuance, scanning and uploading documents, and processing reports. Utilizes strong customer service skills, experiences high phone call volume and heavy foot traffic in the building.

Requirements: Level I - Graduation from high school or GED equivalency. Six (6) months full time, paid or unpaid, experience involving extensive public contact.

Level II - Two years full time office experience.

Level III - Three years full time office experience. Successful completion of appropriate course work obtained beyond high school may substitute for the required experience on a month for month basis.

Other Requirements: A valid Colorado driver's license, vehicle in safe operating condition, liability insurance. Must be physically present within the geographical boundaries of Fremont County when performing on-call duties. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Wage: $17.52 - $20.44/Hour

SHIFT: Full-time - 40 hours per week
