Come and join our team today by applying to our open position. The future of connectivity depends on you!POSITION SUMMARY The Yield Analysis Engineer owns product yield and drives improvements. This role analyzes manufacturing data sets to evaluate loss and provide recommendations to product and device engineering. The Yield Analysis Engineer will coordinate New Product Integration (NPI) results with device R&D and process engineering to meet customer specifications. They will identify failure modes and lead structured problem-solving to disposition nonconforming material. They will also lead product SPC reviews and report metrics with management. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Full ownership of maintaining expected yields of products.Identify sources of yield loss, report trends and initiate improvements.Review design and device issues with R&D to achieve product specifications.Drive manufacturing yield and initiate enhancements. Work with R&D and process engineering to perform risk assessments correlating process capability with product requirements.Collaborate with process engineers to understand process variation and recommend SPC limits.Facilitate root cause failure analysis resolving issues that contribute to low yield lots.Identify process excursions and resolve maverick lot issues.Develop metrics to report to management.Generate scripts aiding in data analysis.Define and implement product Out of Control Action Plans.Adhere to all safety policies, company procedures, and environmental regulations to ensure a safe work environment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESBachelors or Masters degree in Microelectronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field with coursework in RFMinimum 5 years’ experience in Yield Engineering or Product EngineeringProficiency in statistics and data analysis (JMP)Aptitude with programing and scripting (JMP, Python)Demonstrated data mining, data analysis, and reporting skillsExperience in failure analysis methodologiesStrong organizational skills and attention to detailsStrong communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in cross-functional teams.Experience in MEMS, RF filter/components or semiconductor processing is a plus Akoustis is proud to offer a highly competitive compensation plan with an excellent benefits package including:Medical/Dental/Vision InsuranceVacationPaid Holidays401k MatchingEducation reimbursementBonusEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/ Disabled
