Per diem, Day & Evening hours with some on-call.

Main Function:

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care in the Perioperative setting utilizing the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN coordinates nursing care to patients, provides a safe patient environment, and delegates and supervises activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice.

Qualifications:

  • Required – NYS licensed registered nurse

  • Current BLS certification

  • Preferred – CNOR

Education:

  • Required - graduate of approved school of nursing

  • Preferred – BSN

Experience:

  • Preferred - one year med/surg experience

  • Preferred – OR experience

Position Pay Range: $34-48/hour

Starting Pay: Based on experience
