Thompson Health Insurance Credentialing Assistant in Canandaigua, New York

Schedule: Full time - Monday - Friday
Job Description:
Assists with coordination of initial applications for 3rd party payer enrollment
Assists with all required recertification’s/revalidations for 3rd party payers
Assists with revalidations for FF Thompson Hospital as required by CMS and 3rd party payers
Assists with data-base of current provider information for payers, AHP and Central Business Office
Maintains and honors Thompson Health’s confidentiality policy including HIPAA regulations.
Ensure that physician credentialing for all applicable payers is prompt and timely
Maintains knowledge of all third party payer enrollment regulations including state and federal.
Maintains knowledge of all compliance regulations.
Experience:
Three years of previous medical billing experience, professional billing preferred.
Excellent communication and customer relation skills
Proficient computer skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and all web-based payer requirements
Working knowledge of 3rd party payers
Position Pay Range: $18.71 - $23.00 hour
Starting Pay: Based on experience
