Position Overview We are seeking a meticulous and organized financial professional to oversee fixed assets, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions. In this dynamic role, you will manage and report on property records, including fixed assets, and provide monthly updates to the CFO. You'll be responsible for coordinating asset disposals, conducting annual inventories, and supporting cash audits. Additionally, you will ensure timely and accurate payment processing, perform cost analyses of recurring expenses, and contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports. Responsibilities
Maintain the agency's property records including fixed assets. Prepare monthly journal entries related to fixed assets. Maintain asset/furniture disposal requests and coordinates disposal. Responsible for annual physical inventory of fixed assets.
Assists with cash audits.
Prepare RFP's, including preparation of bid documents, solicitation and bid awards. Works closely with Purchasing Specialist when soliciting bids and purchases so as to utilize MWBE vendors whenever possible (ensuring compliance with Agency purchasing policy).
Complete monthly accounts receivable reconciliations.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree and over 3 years of experience or Associates Degree and over 5 years of experience. Experience in not-for-profit environment is preferred.
Experience using accounting software.
Strengths in problem solving, multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet assigned deadlines.
