Summary You will serve as a EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (CBRNE-TRAINING) in the Operations and Plans Division, Mission Assurance Branch of MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON. Responsibilities You will be responsible for conducting training and developing the three members of the Mission Assurance CBRNE training cadre to provide CBRNE training to MCIWEST Installations and Service Level Training Installations within MCIWEST region. You will compile and develop and annual fiscal year training schedule for review and approval. You will be responsible for CBRNE/HAZMAT equipment training resource management, to include course material development, periods of instruction, CBRNE/HAZMAT equipment technical data and specifications and maintaining training records. You will be responsible for reviewing, updating and generating CBRNE training materials for all CBRNE/HAZMAT instruction and provide input annually to the MCIWEST-MCB CAMPPEN CBRNE PM. You will provide technical support for the MCIWEST CBRNE IPP in the areas of CBRNE/HAZMAT detection, decontamination, incident management and PPE. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Management and execution of these programs include MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN, bases, stations, installations, joint and combined exercises and operations for all of the Marine Corps equities located throughout the MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN AOR. The work involves identifying and developing ways to resolve problems or cope with issues that directly affect the accomplishment of Mission Assurance goals and objectives. Typical work products are complete decision packages, staff studies and recommendations, which upon implementation would substantially affect the execution of the MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN Mission Assurance program. The incumbent serves as the senior project officer for the planning and execution of these programs within MCIWEST-MCB CAMPEN.
