Lockheed Martin NDT Test Engineer - Intern in Camden, Arkansas
Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Summer 2025 Non-Destructive Test (NDT) Engineering Intern for a position in Camden, AR.
Camden Operations is a manufacturing facility occupying over 2000 acres and 2 million sq. ft. of manufacturing space building rockets, missiles, canisters, ground vehicles, as well as housing a state of the art machining center. The facility currently has over 1000 employees.
The successful candidate will serve as an NDT Engineer - Intern within the Quality NDT Lab. As a developing engineer, the individual will become knowledgeable in NDT methods, ultrasonic magnetic particle, penetrant inspection, quality processes and disciplines and develop a project which drives quality improvements.
Basic Qualifications:
*Currently pursuing degree in technical discipline from an accredited college (engineering field or STEM discipline)
*Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Desired Skills:
*Familiar with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) & precision measurement equipment & practices
*Organizational skills with ability to track multiple activities and prioritize tasks
*General knowledge of non-destructive testing methods
*Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis to drive informed decisions
*Quality Management System exposure (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc)
*Proficient with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
*Effective interpersonal and communication skills
*Self-motivated/driven to gain an understanding of the significance and consequences of quality and variability in products and processes in a production environment
*Ethical integrity and business professionalism

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
