Amazon Technical Program Manager, AGI in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Description

This role will work with engineers and scientists across multiple SVP organizations to deliver the next generation of AI-based automation products for AWS and Amazon customers. You will get to make priority calls on the products we must build, the architecture, and scoping, and then lead the execution in a fast-paced environment.

Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for diving deep into technical systems, understanding them well and staying connected to the details

You will be responsible for delivering results despite working in an ambiguous environment

You will need a strong bias for action and be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

You will define strategy and build and execute road maps for the programs you own.

You will be responsible for overall coordination, quality and productivity and will be the primary point of contact for world-wide stakeholders of programs that you run.

Throughout, you will internalize Amazon’s Leadership Principles, and live those into everyday practices to guide your programs to success.

About the team

AGI - Automations team is developing AI technologies to automate workflows, processes for browser automation, developers and ops teams. As part of this, we are developing services and inference engine for these automation agents, and techniques for reasoning, planning, and modeling workflows. If you are interested in a startup mode team in Amazon to build the next level of agents then come join us.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience

  • 3+ years of software development experience

  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience

  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience

  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
