Job Description

DUTIES:

·Develop new products and work with cross functional teams to build a solution, which includes, semiconductor chips;

·Project planning, wafer process development and transfer to fab, development of DFT, DFM, wafer test, package test, subcon setup, chip packaging and assembly;

·Coordinate with teams necessary to design, tapeout, bring up and verify first silicon, complete characterization and qualification of the NGS product chips;

·Bring CMOS image sensor, memory or other semiconductor sensor chips from design concept to mass production;

·Conduct electrical characterization leading to physical failure analysis with ability to guide external teams on most appropriate technique to use for FA;

·Implement root cause corrective actions to the development or manufacturing process.

TRAVEL : Up to 15% percent domestic and international travel required. Telecommuting Employee: Reports to company headquarters in Waltham, MA. Can work remotely or telecommute may be assigned to unanticipated client sites.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM Education Requirement:

·Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field of study.

MINIMUM Experience Requirement:

·Eight (8) years of experience in semiconductor chip processing, chip design or related experience.

Alternative Education and Experience Requirement:

·Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field of study plus six (6) years of semiconductor chip processing, chip design or related experience

Required knowledge or experience with:

·Semiconductor based DNA sequencing experience.

·Semiconductor Fab Processing, in CIS related process Semiconductor chip tapeout;

·Chip assembly, chip failure analysis, electrical test of chips, and data analysis;

·Python, Linux, MS;

·Office, Statistical Software (JMP or RS1);

·Present experimental design and results to others in a clear, concise, and accurate way;

·CMOS product engineering covering areas of design, DFT, DFM, process, assembly, failure analysis and project planning;

·Lab with IC test, silicon debug and characterization
