SENIOR MANAGER, ECONOMICS PATHWAYS, Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) North America, to design and lead a new flagship initiative aimed at building the capacity of researchers to conduct high-quality randomized evaluations, while also diversifying and expanding the network of researchers engaged in this work; direct a range of mentorship, training, and resource support programs tailored to meet the needs of researchers at varying stages of their careers and experience with randomized evaluations; manage and mentor program staff and foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: Master’s degree; at least seven years of directly relevant experience, including a solid understanding of training approaches and adult-learner pedagogies, mentoring and an understanding of the challenges and opportunities within an academic setting, especially for underrepresented groups; solid oral and written communication, and project management skills; meticulous attention to detail and ability to independently drive work forward; and demonstrated success in managing teams and mentoring staff, including the ability to build a positive team culture and collaborate across departments.
