We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Nursing Assistant, Nurse?s Aide, EMT, or Paramedic to join our team as a Mental Health Support Assistant. This role is pivotal in providing high-touch, personalized care to our patients undergoing IV ketamine, Spravato, and TMS treatments. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a safe, supportive environment and delivering outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care and Support - Provide compassionate care and support to patients before, during, and after ketamine treatment sessions and TMS treatments. - Monitor patients for safety, comfort, and well-being, responding promptly to any needs or concerns. - Assist in the administration and monitoring of treatments, ensuring compliance with protocols and safety standards. Service Excellence - Greet and welcome patients with warmth and empathy, creating a calming and reassuring atmosphere. - Communicate effectively with patients, addressing their questions and providing clear explanations of procedures. - Ensure a seamless and positive patient experience, from the start of visit to follow up call post-visit. Clinical and Technical Duties - Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient sessions and treatment outcomes. - Assist in a supportive capacity for IV ketamine treatment and monitoring Spravato sessions, following strict safety and ethical guidelines. - Set up and operate TMS equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. Collaboration and Teamwork - Work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver integrated care. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Support the development and refinement of protocols and procedures to enhance patient care. Qualifications: - Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in mental health. - Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on empathy and patient-centered care. - Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards. - Familiarity with non-traditional treatments for mental health is a plus but not required; training will be provided. - Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), EMT, or Paramedic certification preferred.
