Aerotek Electrical Mechanical Technician in Cambridge, Massachusetts

Electrical Mechanical Technician

Description:

The Production Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing systems and related products in our manufacturing facility. You will follow released engineering drawings and assembly instructions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Details:

  • Perform mechanical assembly of subassemblies using small hand and power tools.

  • Conduct final assembly of systems and accessories.

  • Test and troubleshoot subassemblies and final assemblies to ensure proper functionality.

  • Collaborate with other Production Technicians and Engineering to improve assembly documentation and processes.

  • Participate in new product development efforts, working with incomplete documentation and assembly instructions.

  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers to enhance assembly efficiency, product quality, and reduce costs.

  • Follow work order protocols and complete work order paperwork accurately and promptly.

  • Train other technicians as needed and conduct in-process quality checks to maintain high standards.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in electrical mechanical assembly or a similar role.

  • Test technician experience

  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

  • Proficient in using hand and power tools.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00
