Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Cambridge City, Indiana

Job Description:

Maintenance Technician Wanted!

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. You'll diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical issues in equipment like 3-phase motors, gearboxes, motor control circuits, VFDs, sensors, switches, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair equipment

  • Perform routine maintenance

  • Use technical documents

  • Complete work orders on time

  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Other Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on equipment

  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions by inspecting, operating, or testing machinery

  • Maintain and repair machinery/components, including 3-phase motors, gearboxes, motor control circuits, VFDs, sensors, switches, conveyors, and packaging equipment

  • Conduct routine preventative and predictive maintenance tasks

  • Utilize prints, repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts catalogs as necessary

  • Repair machines, equipment, or structures using various tools and electronic testing devices

  • Maintain and troubleshoot relay logic and control field devices

  • Review and complete work orders in a timely manner

  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures at all times

Essential Skills:

  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems

  • Conveyor maintenance

  • Electrical troubleshooting up to 480v

  • Mechanical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, gearboxes, and conveyors

  • Industrial maintenance experience

  • PLC troubleshooting

  • Schematic reading

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
