ManpowerGroup Process Development Engineer in Camarillo, California
The Mechanical Process Development Engineer will take the lead on parts of a large project or will take ownership of smaller scale projects: from equipment and prototype design of testing of new developed processes for manufacturing. All work involved will have a sustained and constant focus on technology transfer of R&D activities to manufacturing. The responsibility of a Mechanical Process Development Engineer is to assist fellow Scientists and Senior Engineers to elevate research and development projects to a high degree of commercial potential.
Job Title: Mechanical Process Engineer
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay Range: $100,000 - $110,000
What’s the Job?
Design, build and implement mechanical devices and process controls to control different chemistries and polymer materials to form functional, reliable and robust filtration products.
Develop equipment that will be used to create prototypes and pilot-scale production.
Contribute to equipment development that will be used in transition from pilot to production operations.
Take ownership of membrane research and development projects with the goal of overseeing, innovating, and improving R&D processes, piloting equipment operation, and working with other engineers and scientists to scale-up operations.
Conduct own experiments, DOE, troubleshoot, and effectively communicate results through written reports and presentations.
What’s Needed?
Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience in a related technical field or industry.
Excellent mechanical design experience with skills in SolidWorks or related design software.
Hands-on experience in development projects and in fast paced environments with a proven track record of performance and meeting deadlines and deliverables.
Strong analytical skills to carry-out effective data analysis.
