Delaware Valley Job Corps is an education and training center located in beautiful Callicoon, NY. We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve. With a capacity of 208 students, we strive to achieve excellence for each student across 7 different trades.

We are looking for exceptional Substitute Academic Instructors to join our growing team of professionals.
SCHEDULED HOURS:
As needed, on-call hours would be worked between 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM, Monday through Friday ONLY. Substitutes would be called, and scheduled, as needed to maintain continuous educational programming.

Substitute Instructor SUMMARY:
Responsible for providing instruction and training to students in the Education and Training Department. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data.
During this time, the Substitute Instructor will provide high-quality supervision and management of student population. The Instructor will take swift and appropriate action to positively influence student behavior.
Qualifications
Substitute Instructor QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school required. A valid NY state teaching certificate is preferred.
