Your Opportunity
Stantec’s Environmental Services practice seeks a Senior Consultant to help manage our NRDA Program. This position requires an individual with extensive experience in leading NRDA projects. The successful professional will have a strong academic background and at least 10 years of scientific experience in a discipline and has been focused on the NRDA process for either hazardous waste releases or oil spills. A Master of Science degree in a pertinent natural science is required, but education to the Ph.D. level in a natural science is preferred. This position can be located in any Stantec office in the United States.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational NRDA projects
Utilize superb oral and written communication skills that are suitable to both scientific and informed general audiences to develop, propose, and close on NRDA projects.
Negotiate with state and federal Natural Resource Trustees.
Provide expert testimony in an NRDA or similar judicial proceeding or be sufficiently qualified to serve as an expert witness in such proceedings.
The individual needs pertinent technical and peer-reviewed scientific publications/reports and must be a seasoned project or, preferably, program manager.

Specific experience in leading multi-disciplinary, multi-organizational NRDA projects is required.
Demonstrated success in program building in emerging NRDA markets
NRDA experience
Experience negotiating with state and federal Natural Resource Trustees.
Experience building and leading multi-disciplinary teams
Project and program management experience
Qualified to serve as an expert witness
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a desire for team success

Salary Range(s):
NYC $120,000 /Outside NYC $95,200 - NYC $179,900 /Outside NYC $142,800 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY
$104,700 - $157,100 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI and MD
$112,300 - $168,500 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in WA and DC
SF Area $120,000 / CA other areas $104,700 - SF Area $179,900 / CA other areas $168,500 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC)
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
