Position Summary:

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Management Analyst

The Program Management Analyst 2 will be responsible for providing a variety of project administration support functions in the successful execution of various projects. Duties will include project planning, forecasting, budgeting, EACs, material procurement and surveillance of subcontract execution. The Program Analyst is also responsible for meeting internal/external reporting requirements as well as invoice/payment tracking.

The Program Management Analyst, Associate will work closely with Program Managers and Business Operations staff to ensure both project and operational goals are achieved. This role is ideal for someone with strong project management, analytical thinking, and program-solving skills.

What you will do:

Specific responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Financial analysis on federally funded contracts

  • EAC generation, tracking and managing spend plans

  • Support the receivables/payables management process

  • Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) pricing and estimating

  • Procurement and Subcontract management

  • Planning, forecasting and variance analysis

  • Internal and External Reporting

  • Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

What we are looking for:

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • The ability to interact with managers at all levels in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is required

  • Highly organized with the highest standards of accuracy and precision

  • Proficient in MS Excel

  • Functional knowledge of DoD Contracts

  • Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency, working independently or in a team environment

  • Program Finance/Project Controller experience in Government contracts environment

  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint and Cognos

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required security clearance

Physical Requirements

  • Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
