Manager of Information Technology

JHNA Technology Security is currently seeking a Manager of Information Technology to join our Corporate Team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing IT Operations, managing the IT Team, and working closely with senior management, VPs, and Directors to establish company goals and objectives. This position will require on-site support in our California, MD corporate office.

JHNA Technology Security is a Digital Engineering firm focused on providing engineering and technical services primarily to DoD's Aviation communities. JHNA is a critical partner to these communities providing MBSE, MOSA, and platform security (cyber and anti-tamper) support. The Director Of IT Will Be Responsible For The Following:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of all employee computing systems, including servers, Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), classified stand-alone systems, and mobile devices.
  • Create and maintain Information Technology (IT) hardware inventory.
  • Monitor server logs on daily basis for anomalous behavior.
  • Oversee configuration, installation, and maintenance of all company IT systems, including servers, virtual appliances, laptops/desktops, and VoIP phones.
  • Ensure compliance with DFARS 800-171 by required deadline, to ensure avoidance of breach of contract requirements.
  • Plan, configure, deploy, and maintain malware virtual appliance for management of all information systems to allow for protection from malware.
  • Lead Cyber Security Engineering team to obtain Authority to Operate (ATO) for MCA-T45.
  • Serve as Cybersecurity subject matter expert (SME) for contract prime and company.
  • Develop, review, and submit assessment and authorization (AandA) document.
  • Responsible for familiarity with DoD cybersecurity policies, including DoD 8500 series, NAVAIR SWPS, CNSS 1253 and NIST special publications.
  • Assess compliance with security technical implementation guides (STIGs).
  • Responsible for all artifact creation and submission to complete RMF Package.
  • Responsible for entering package into eMASS.
  • Liaison directly with prime lead engineer and prime program manager to ensure schedule compliance.
  • Support customer briefs and meetings.
  • Conduct required Cyber Tabletop (CTT).
  • Provide Cyber Security training for personnel.
  • Manage Cyber Security staff.
  • Maintain proficiency in RMF-specific tools (DISA STIGs, SCAP, ACAS).

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen with an active Top Secret Clearance
  • Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree (preferably in IT or Cybersecurity) from an accredited college or university
  • Relevant Certifications (EX: CISSP)
  • Familiarity with applicable FAR/DFARS, CMMC 2.0, NIST Standards, 32 CFR NISPOM, ISO9001:2015
  • Azure GCC- High Infrastructure (Entra Identity, Virtualization, storage and VPN)
  • Experience with M365 Platform including Exchange, Sharepoint, OneDrive, TEAMS etc.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies, including DoD 8500 series, NAVAIR SWPS, CNSS 1253 and NIST special publications
