The Junior Business Operations Analyst will support the company's operational and administrative functions, ensuring compliance with DoD and company Travel Regulations, procurement policies, and inventory management protocols. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized entry-level professional who can assist in travel coordination, purchasing, compliance reviews, and office administration. This is a position that provides growth potential in a variety of domains.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

The Junior Business Operations Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing travel plans and vouchers for compliance with DoD and Company Travel Regulations, ensuring accuracy and policy adherence

  • Assisting with coordinating and booking travel arrangements, as needed

  • Supporting official travel financial reporting, tracking expenses, and reconciling discrepancies

  • Maintaining travel records and preparing summary reports

  • Processing purchase requests, ensuring they meet accuracy and compliance requirements before routing for approval

  • Tracking purchase requests, from request submission through receiving, inventorying, and reconciliation

  • Working with vendors, as needed, to confirm pricing, availability, and delivery schedules for required goods and services

  • Enter, monitor, and track manufacturing inventory through the inventory management system, ensuring accurate records of assets

  • Conducting regular inventory audits, identifying and addressing discrepancies

  • Assisting with office administrative tasks such as answering and transferring phone calls as well as ordering and organizing office supplies

  • Maintaining the security of the office space, ensuring guests are signed in and issued a visitor security badge

  • Performing other duties as assigned

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to provide customer service to the team and manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills

  • Highly motivated and detail oriented

  • Proficiency with computer applications and data entry (e.g., MS Excel)

  • Capacity to learn and adapt rapidly to change

  • Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions and perform duties with supervision

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based collaborative resources such as SharePoint and Microsoft Teams

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in identifying problems, gathering data, and recognizing solutions

  • 1 year of experience in a professional office setting preferred

  • Experience with DoD Travel Regulations (i.e., JTR, DTS)

  • Familiarity with inventory management systems
