    About The Job

    Dudek is seeking a Jr. Developer / IT Analyst who is a self-starting team player to support our IT businesses group (ITBG). The ITBG supports the day-to-day operations of internal / external customers by providing support to line of business application (LOB). In addition, the group collaborates with external customers to provide custom and / or commercial off the shelf (COTS) implementations and support where needed. You’ll have a broad, diversified role that includes exposure to department leaders, client relations and to identify opportunities for process improvement. As a Jr. Developer / IT Analyst at Dudek – you’ll be learning and gaining exposure to project management with technical oversight and managing the completion of project deliverables.

    Duties and Responsibilities (may include some or all of the below): 

  • Execution of projects with direction for design, development, implementation, and support of commercial and custom software products

  • Provide expert technical support for line of business application (LOB) platforms.

  • Enhances current system functionality to improve process, performance and/or design.

  • Participates in code review cycles and quality assurance (QA) testing for production ready deployments. 

  • Participates in exploring cloud solutions offerings for extending service automation and technology infusion for internal and external customers.

  • Works with stakeholders to gather project requirements, use cases and test case scenarios.

  • Supports client hosting environments.

    Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Associate (AS) degree in a STEM program or any equivalent combination of experience, training, and/or education.

    • As a federal contractor, successful candidates are required to pass the following pre-employment requirements prior to beginning employment: pre - employment drug test and background check.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Full stack development experience (UI / Middle and backend technologies stacks)

  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, CLM and HCM enterprise software packages. i.e., Deltek, Agiloft and Ceridian 

  • Experience Collaborating with external clients to build applications and data acquisition models, workflows, and reporting solutions.

  • experience with working with geographic information system frameworks (GIS) i.e., ESRI, Google Maps, ArcGIS Online.

  • Experience with web, database and building REST and RESTful APIs using .NET technologies, Angular, typescript, PowerShell, Node, Python, Laravel and/or PHP.

  • Experience with relational database i.e., MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and/or Postgres

  • Experience with Power BI, SSRS and JSON reporting with Microsoft Office products.

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices 

  • Knowledge of Business intelligent “BI” reporting technologies 

  • Knowledge of Web server technologies.

  • Experience with repository control systems and i.e., GitHub 

  • Any experience demonstrating cloud integration technologies or strategies is preferred.

  • Any experience with Azure, Azure data factory and/or Azure synapse is preferred.

    Physical Requirements

    Working Conditions:

  • This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc.

  • This job requires occasional project site visits-based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, moving vehicles and equipment.

  • This job requires working on a computer, sitting or standing for long periods of time in an office or remote office setting.

  • This job requires attending meetings, both in person and virtually as well as speaking on the phone with peers, clients, etc. Speaking, hearing and listening are required.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

  • Outdoor activity may involve walking/trekking in uneven terrain over long distances in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time.

    Proposed Salary Range: $38.46-$40.86 hourly*

    *Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individual’s related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
