How You'll Perform the Role Position will perform job duties and responsibilities in the following key areas: Safety Enforce and monitor hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly safety procedures are being followed. Enforce hourly and daily housekeeping every day. Report any unsafe behaviors to the Shift Supervisors. * Enforce GMP compliance. Quality Enforce and monitor hourly, daily, monthly, and yearly quality procedure. * Report team member quality performance issues to Shift Supervisors. Report any incoming raw material quality issues to the Supervisor. Production Enforce hourly shift reports are completed correctly. Ensure manpower is allocated correctly before and during shift. Communicate any raw material, equipment or maintenance issues or needs to Shift Supervisors. Assist in machine changeovers/order changes and ensure they are completed in a timely manner. Make sure all machines are running on schedule and at production speed. Evaluate employees' performances, and administer counseling and/or disciplinary action, improvement plans and making sure that recurring problems are brought to the attention of Shift Supervisor or Department Manager. Track, monitor and update employee training records daily. Keep workers supplied with necessary materials. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, including food safety. What We Need From You High School diploma or GED 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. 2-5+ years leading in a Manufacturing environment.
