Allwell Behavioral Health Services Behavioral Health Therapist-Part Time in Caldwell, Ohio

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for direct and indirect clinical services to a segment of the client population. Completes and submits all required documentation. Provides community education and agency consultation along with emergency services as directed. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/STANDARDS:

Responsible for providing direct and indirect clinical services.

· Maintains 100% of required billable service hours as documented on monthly billable service productivity report.

· Provides counseling services professionally, tactfully and with concern for client's well-being.

· Responds to telephone and/or personal inquires within 24 hours.

· Responds to emergencies and/or crisis reported during the business day as assigned within one hour.

· Responds to routine appointments within fifteen minutes of the scheduled time.

 

Responsible for maintaining and submitting required documentation within the guidelines of Allwell's policies and procedures or any other sanctioning body.

· Completes all clinical documentation in the time frame allotted by Allwell policy and procedures.

· Complies with all Allwell record keeping policies and procedures as observed by Quality Improvement/Peer Review committee and the Chief Clinical Officer.

· Returns all paper clinical records or other paper documents to central filing area at the end of each business day or sooner.

 

Responsible for providing consultation, community education and in-service training.

· Fulfills contract obligations when assigned as reported to supervisor.

· Provides mental health consultative services to community agencies when requested.

· Provides educational services to community agencies and/or groups as well as providing in-service training for Allwell staff.

 

Responsible to attend Allwell clinical and administrative staff meetings, committees, and in-services as directed.

· Attends scheduled staff meetings 100% attendance rate.

· Attends all mandatory in-service trainings.

· Serves on designated Allwell committees when assigned.

 

Obtains and maintains professional licensure as required by Allwell and the State of Ohio.

· Applies for and acquires appropriate professional licensure when applicable, as documented by a certificate from the State of Ohio.

· Obtains continued education as required by law for license renewal.

· Meets legal supervisory requirements as documented in supervisor's log.

· Responsible to respond to any other job related duties as assigned by supervisor.

 

Will have access to and use of, as well as may create, Protected Health Information (PHI) of clients through verbal, written and electronic communications, as recorded and contained in ABHS's clinical records and electronic healthcare record system. Will use and protect such identified client PHI by maintaining and respecting client privacy and confidentiality in conformance to federal HIPAA and state patient privacy laws and regulations and ABHS client confidentiality policies. Employee will only access and use the minimum necessary PHI required to perform their job duties.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Master's degree and Ohio licensure as an LSW or LPC.

· Two years' experience in clinical practice preferred.

· Must maintain license eligibility via approved CEU requirements.

· Exercise analysis and judgment in discriminating among many alternatives.

· Solutions to problems require the application of established practices.

· References to supervision and precedents is available as needed.

· Monitors a complex process.

· Oversees day-to-day operation of own caseload under director's supervision.

· Must be able to self-motivating and work with minimal supervision.
