Job Summary:\ We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, assess patients\' conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of care.
Responsibilities:\ - Perform comprehensive assessments of patients\' health status\ - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians\ - Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patients\' conditions\ - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans\ - Educate patients and their families about their conditions, medications, and self-care techniques\ - Provide emotional support to patients and their families\ - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality\ - Utilize electronic medical records systems such as Athena health, Epic, or other similar platforms for documentation purposes\ - Adhere to sterile processing protocols in accordance with hospital guidelines\ - Provide case management services to coordinate care across different healthcare settings (e.g., hospitals, nursing homes, home care)
Skills:\ - Strong clinical skills in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, ophthalmology clinics, or home care\ - Proficient in using electronic medical records systems like Athena health or Epic for documentation purposes\ - Knowledge of coding practices and ability to accurately document patient encounters\ - Familiarity with sterile processing techniques and infection control protocols\ - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Qualifications:\ - Valid Registered Nurse license\ - Bachelor\'s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required

Education

Licenses/Certification
Current RN Licensure in the State employed.
Valid CPR Certification.
Experience
Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred. :::
