The City of Caldwell has an opening for an Assistant City Engineer. Individual will serve the City as an Assistant City Engineer, manage the Engineering Department and assist in the direction of the design and development of public works and local development District projects. The work is performed under direct supervision of the City Engineer. An employee in this class supervises the employees in the Engineering Department; organize capital and local improvement district projects works with stormwater permitting and water quality issues on behalf of the city, acts as the Certified floodplain manager for the city hydraulic projects and oversees the financial and organizational needs of the department. The principal duties of this class are performed in a general office environment with an emphasis on teamwork.
