Insight Global Accounting Manager in Calabasas, California

Job Description

One of our largest entertainment clients is looking for an Accounting Manager to join their team in Calabasas, CA. This is a hybrid position on site 1-2 days a week. This person will be providing financial accounting support and supervision to significant portions of the finance close process. This position addresses tight deadlines and a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, finance reporting, audit preparation, and the support of budget and forecast activities. This position will oversee Staff and Senior Accountants and report directly to the Controller.

Pay Range $48 - $52 HR

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelors in Business, Finance or Accounting required; CPA preferred

  • 5+ years of management experience in financial accounting and/or auditing preferred

  • 4+ years management experience is required, including managing, developing and leading teams as well as optimizing and reorganizing teams to most effectively meet business needs

  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Proficient technical skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, & PowerPoint

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Look-ups

  • Knowledge in ERP and consolidation systems such as Oracle and SAP

  • Knowledge in accounting and budgeting systems

  • Experience in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes within a large public company - Entertainment Background null
