What you will do

This role requires deep expertise in the design, creation, management, and business use of large datasets, across a variety of data platforms.

You should have excellent business and interpersonal skills to be able to work with business owners to understand data requirements, and to build Power BI Dashboards.

Above all, you should be passionate about working with huge data sets and someone who loves to bring datasets together to answer business questions and drive growth.

In this role, you will envision, design and develop data solutions to scale data.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data/ETL pipelines leveraging big data technologies and modern BI products to effectively meet the rapidly growing and dynamic demands of rich data.

You will help org move towards data as a service model to improve influence on day-to-day business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Work closely with analysts, data engineers, business intelligence engineers and software development engineers to produce complete data solutions

  • Translate business problems into metrics problems into data problems - and build insights accordingly

  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to help determine key business conclusions

  • Understand the business challenges and identify data-driven business insights with effective presentation of findings at multiple levels of stakeholders

  • Design, implement, and support key datasets that provide structured and timely access to actionable business information addressing stakeholder needs

  • Support and drive short-term and long-term for achieving business targets in the digital roadmap

  • Monitoring existent metrics, building new metrics, and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelors in Industrial Engineering/Supply Chain/Data Analysis or related field

  • Strong experience with Power Tools(Power Automate, Power BI, Power Apps etc.)

  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

  • Experience managing multiple projects/tasks delivery simultaneously

  • Strong written, oral communication and presentation skills

  • Effectively communicates with both business and technical teams

  • Able to work with Microsoft laptops, products and services

  • Proficient with SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience working with Warehouse Management Systems is highly preferred

  • Previous experience with Azure suite/products is a plus

  • Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language such as Python, Java etc.

  • Experience in data mining, ETL and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
