This Position is for a Sr. Manager Manufacturing Engineering with a work location in Byhalia, MS.

Currently seeking an experienced Sr. Manager Manufacturing Engineering located in Byhalia, MS.

This role will oversee the development and implementation of manufacturing processes to maintain proper product functionality as well as cost efficiency.

In this position, the individual will manage work schedules and budgets related to the design, integration and maintenance of manufactured products and systems.

The role will provide process engineering support all production cells and will rely on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

The Senior Manager will lead and mentor a high-performing team, managing complex projects involving the design, integration, and continuous improvement of manufacturing systems and products.

The position will focus on aligning manufacturing strategies with organizational goals, including resource allocation, budget oversight, and timeline management to deliver innovative solutions.

A critical component of this role is providing expert process engineering support across all production cells while fostering collaboration across departments to enhance productivity, quality, and scalability.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUCNTIONS:

Drives Manufacturing Engineers as a team toward facility and departmental goals.

Track deliverables of IQA's to assure manufacturing readiness for new product launches.

Manages the Development and maintenance of SOP's and Standard Work for assigned operations.

Plans and formulates aspects of engineering improvement projects including equipment purchase, layout, and flow.

Ensures the timely completion of projects and initiatives that move the company in the direction of true North while helping achieve short- and long-term business objectives.

Design production cells aiming to world-class manufacturing.

Ensures Support of SQDC, and support of Rapid Improvement Events.

Manages the manufacturing launch of high volume, complex, new products.

Work with cross functional teams to develop advanced level solutions for cross functional problems.

Works with Procurement to conduct make/buy analysis for all new parts.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or Related Field required.

Ten or more years engineering experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Five or more years work experience supervising engineers required.

Possess effective decision-making skills and the ability to mentor other staff required.

Possess prioritization skills for multiple projects and personnel required.

Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite required.

Knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks required.

Experience with implementing LEAN techniques and Six Sigma tools required.

Identify and quantify the most significant savings opportunities available in any situation.

Cross functional expertise in both transactional and operations areas of a business enterprise and lead cross-functional teams at all levels to develop, track, and implement strategic and tactical projects.

Soft Skills coaching and training.

Multi Project Management of large complex projects.

Excellent coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and structured problem-solving skills.

Self-directed, self-motivated and able work in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated ability to effectively facilitate change.

Able to work aggressively with a concentrated focus on details.

Possess the ability to excel at working with team members at all levels and different functions/departments.

Able to communicate effectively both verbally and written to all levels within the company.

Experience in leading cross functional team members at all levels.

Possess expert understanding with experience in various facets of the manufacturing enterprise.

Master's Degree in Engineering or related field a plus.

Lean or Six Sigma Certification a plus.

PMP Certification or equivalent a plus.
