We're seeking a Front Desk Administrative Assistant in Butler, PA to assist a friendly, busy office and support a team of recruiters. This is a full-time permanent position offering a Monday -- Friday daylight schedule of 8:30 am to 5 pm, a full benefits package, and an hourly pay rate of up to $18 hour, depending on experience.

This is an excellent chance for someone who is looking for an opportunity to step into and be trained in an office role! Or on the flip side, also a great fit for someone who's no longer interested in roles with higher levels of authority such as an office manager position and instead would prefer to assist a team in a support role capacity.

POSITION Some essential areas of responsibility will include:  •    Greet incoming visitors and job applicants. •    Guide job applicants through initial steps to complete required paperwork and set up for pre-employment testing. •    Enter, update, and ensure accuracy of information in an applicant tracking system. •    Answer phones, transfer calls, schedule applicants for interviews. •    Respond to general inquiries via email and phone. •    Communicate and resolve issues with a high sense of urgency •    Manage job postings on company website and other sites, such as Indeed. •    Create, update, and reformat a variety of documents. •    Initiate electronic onboarding for new hires and ensure all required steps are complete within established timeframes.  •    Coordinate newsletter, employee of the month, and special projects upon request.  •    Purchase office supplies. •    Miscellaneous duties such as copying, scanning, electronic and paper filing, mail, etc. •    Provide primary administrative support for recruiters and ancillary/supplemental support to other office departments as needed.

BASE REQUIREMENTS •    High School Diploma or GED. •    2+ years of experience in customer service and / or office support / administrative role.  •    Strong customer service skills and ability to relate to a wide variety of people. •    Professional appearance and communication skills coupled with a down-to-earth personality.  •    Computer skills including basic to intermediate Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn new systems.  •    Excellent and consistent problem solving, follow-up, attention to detail, and documentation skills. •    Pre-employment process includes criminal background check, drug screen, and MS Office skills assessment.
