Robert Half Billing Clerk in Burr Ridge, Illinois

Description We are seeking a Billing Clerk to join our team in Burr Ridge, Illinois. In this role, you will work on various accounting and billing functions, liaise with different departments, and ensure the confidentiality of the organization's valuable information. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity, providing a dynamic workplace where you can showcase your skills in Accounts Receivable (AR), SAP, and Billing Functions.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and verify account discrepancies by investigating and obtaining necessary information.

• Ensure the confidentiality of the organization's information, safeguarding its value.

• Communicate with customers through various channels such as telephone, email, or post to address their inquiries.

• Participate in dispute resolution processes, ensuring customer satisfaction and preserving business relationships.

• Act as a liaison between different departments such as Order Entry, Finance, Controllership, and Cash Application.

• Submit accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring the smooth running of billing functions.

• Follow up on outstanding issues, taking necessary actions to resolve them.

• Learn and adhere to the established AR procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.

• Use SAP and other financial software to perform accounting functions and maintain customer records.

• Use excellent attention to detail to understand and analyze information, ensuring accurate and efficient operations. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) management

• Ability to effectively handle Answering Inbound Calls

• Familiarity with Billing Functions

• Proficiency in using SAP software

• Previous experience in a Billing role

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong numeric and data entry skills

• Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet deadlines

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Ability to work in a team and maintain a positive work environment.
