Job Title: Quality Documentation Specialist

Job Description

Ensure quality and regulatory documentation and information is maintained throughout the three plants. You will be responsible for maintaining and validating all quality and regulatory documentation on a daily basis to ensure everything is in order and compliant such as SDS's, product labels, FSSC information, ISO information, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Address quality issues and determine the root cause to provide the correct CAPA.

  • Respond to customer issues/complaints to fix quality issues and investigate further.

  • Plan, conduct, and correct any and all internal and external audits.

  • Maintain the quality management system including writing/authoring/editing SDS's, SOP's, Change Orders, Electronic documentation systems, Regulatory information, etc.

  • Ensure all raw material specifications and customer specifications are documented and verify that these specifications are met through production and quality personnel.

  • Provide support as needed for additional laboratory testing, assisting in the lab if necessary.

Essential Skills

  • Strong experience in quality assurance and documentation.

  • Experience with regulatory documentation such as SDS's, Product Labels, Quality documentation, etc.

  • Ability to assist with all audits (FSSC, SOP's, Internal/External Audits, etc.).

  • Capability to interact with R&D, Regulatory, other Quality personnel, and operations staff.

  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers, customers, and external auditors.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Safety Data Sheets (SDS).

  • Knowledge of Product Labels, FSSC, ISO standards.

  • Proficiency in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Quality Documentation, and Quality Audit.

  • Familiarity with Food Safety, HACCP, CAPA, NCR, RCA.

  • Experience with Chempax.

Work Environment

This is a 1st shift, Monday through Friday role, with hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with potential for overtime. You will be working with every level of the organization, including quality personnel, regulatory staff, operations/production personnel, customers, and suppliers. You must be able to work well with others. The majority of your day will be dedicated to handling QA functions and managing/maintaining/updating the quality systems. You will also need to fill in for QA staff when they are unavailable and step into other areas as needed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
