*Quality Technician Job Responsibilities:  *

  • Inspect output samples and ensure adherence to standards, legal requirements, and Work Instructions (WI).
  • Review blueprints and specifications, and conduct testing at various manufacturing stages.
  • Record inspection results, summarize re-works and waste, and input data into the quality database.
  • Train production teams on quality control measures and support them with quality and process issues.
  • Propose process improvements, monitor equipment safety, and verify calibration accuracy.
  • Compile statistical quality data and create reports for management, suggesting enhancements as needed.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts (6am -- 6pm OR 6:00pm - 6:00am)

  • 2,2,3 Pitman schedule (2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off, & it repeats)
  • One week, you'll work a 36-hour week, the next week you'll work a 48-hour week -- Weekends off for half the year
  • You'll be provided with your schedule for the month ahead

Pay: $23 - $26 per hour

  • OT available

Quality Technician Requirements:

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • 1 year of recent manufacturing experience in a technical role
  • 6 months of recent experience in any kind of leadership role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Excel programs
  • Excellent understanding of problem-solving techniques.
  • Works well independently, and within a team environment

*Previous PV module manufacturing experience is preferred!
