Express Employment Professionals in hiring a maintenance technician for a well-oiled manufacturing company in Burlington. This company has competitive benefits and much more. Your main responsibility would be preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment as needed while working with other team members to complete electrical/mechanical projects. The right person for this role would have 2-3 years of experience, is team orientated, adaptable, willing to work a rotating shift, has problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail, and wants to learn new things. 

Pay: $26.00-$32.00/HR with shift differential

Position Type: Direct Hire Location: Burlington, WA

Shift: Rotating shift 6 pm-6 am

Job Duties & Responsibilities include:

• Maintain personal compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety within the facility.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations including but not limited to Lock Out/Tag Out practices.
• Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to production and facility equipment as required.
• Complete small electrical or mechanical projects as directed by the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Diagnose basic electrical systems, mechanical components, pneumatic components, and controls to identify hazards, defects, and need for adjustments, repairs, or programming.
• Support the maintenance of the electrical spare parts inventory levels.
• Maintain and perform repairs on equipment to restore them to proper, safe, and optimal working conditions.
• Adhere to work orders and utilize the CMMS system for data entry.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as needed.

• Must be able to lift upwards of 50 lbs.

   

*Skills: *

• Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
• Working knowledge of industrial PCs and PLCs (Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff Twin Cat, etc.) and electric circuitry consisting of contactors, relays, main voltage/control voltage, limit switches, and proximity sensors

• Excellent inter-personal and communication kills

   

Education and/or Experience Required:

• Minimum 3 years of experience within a related role.
• 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment with multiple priorities

• A certificate from technical trade school, Military experience in lieu of or related subject
