Job Summary: Express Employment Professionals in hiring a maintenance technician for a well-oiled manufacturing company in Burlington. Your main responsibility would be preventative maintenance and repairing production equipment as needed while working with other team members to complete electrical/mechanical projects. The right person for this role would have 2-3 years of experience, who is team orientated, adaptable, and willing to work a rotating shift, problem-solving skills with a keen eye to detail, and who wants to learn new things. Pay: $24-$40/HR with shift differential Position Type: Direct Hire Location: Burlington, WA Shift: Rotating shift 6 pm-6 am Job Duties & Responsibilities include: Maintain production equipment to maximize operating performance and assist with maintaining electrical spare parts inventory levels. Perform repairs on equipment to restore them to proper and safe work conditions. Perform installation, set up, modification, and relocation of equipment to accommodate or improve production requirements. Read/write electrical and electronic schematics/diagrams, and basic hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams. Test electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance. Ensure the production schedule is not jeopardized due to machine breakdown, or unsafe operating conditions and inform the Maintenance Manager about changes in electric circuits. and update the original diagrams. Always follow the LOCK OUT/ TAG OUT procedure on unsafe machines/machines being serviced. Adhere to work orders, and preventive/predictive maintenance systems by filling in required forms and organizing workplace to comply with housekeeping requirements. Perform preventative/predictive maintenance to all production equipment as required. Complete electrical and mechanical projects based on the direction given by the Maintenance Supervisor as required by government regulation. Demonstrate safe work practices and follow company safety policies, procedures, and regulations at all times. Initiate and complete all other jobs, projects, and special assignments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor Maintain compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and recommend measures to improve health and safety. Repair and replace electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic and electronic components such as motors, contactors, relays, timers, types of switches, PLCs, light curtains, motor controls and valves. Skills: Able to read wiring diagrams, electrical/mechanical/pneumatic/hydraulic schematics, and ladder/function block logic.
