Posting Summary
Coordinate, oversee, and implement operational services for the UVM Office of Health Promotion Research( OHPR ) in support of their research projects and programs. Develop and maintain processes for regulatory compliance for a large portfolio of research grants, including human subjects approvals, data use agreements, and material transfer agreements. Develop and maintain websites and other informational materials for the UVM OHPR and associated research projects. Act as the liaison between partnering consortia and department to ensure smooth collaboration on multi-site research projects. Evaluate and recommend standardized protocols and methods in support of consistent and effective processes across collaborating institutions. Maintain tracking records for databases and repositories. Oversee maintenance of files and records. Participate and develop programs designed to support or enhance quality standards and program visibility.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree
1-2 years experience in project management
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks based on importance and deadlines
Attention to detail and discretion with confidential information
Desirable Qualifications
Experience with healthcare quality improvement initiatives, clinical research, and/or population-based rural studies or cancer research.
Experience working in collaborative settings with academic, healthcare, state, and/or federal partners
Knowledge of applicable compliance requirements and processes related to data sharing and human subjects research
Anticipated Pay Range $23.50/hour - $27.50/hour
Other Information
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, A probationary period may be required, Contingent on continued funding, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule with an option to split time between campus and elsewhere, in accordance with the university telecommuting policy, Background Check required for this position
