Posting Summary

Direct the Center for Student Success and all related student services provided by the Grossman School of Business in support of the University’s academic and enrollment management goals. Collaborate with the Director of Undergraduate Programs, Associate Dean and Dean of the Grossman School of Business as a member of the School’s senior leadership team. Collaborate with the Director of Undergraduate Programs on development and oversee implementation of processes, procedures, and policies that impact strategic initiatives in enrollment management, academic advising, student engagement, and communications with a focus on enhancing services. Interpret and administer School and University policies and procedures. Represent GSB on various campus-wide committees.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Bachelor’s degree in higher education administration, Educational Leadership, Organization or Human Resources Leadership, or related field and five to six years of relevant experience required. Experience with program development and implementation, and supervision of staff required. Effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Effective ability to present to constituents through multiple venues – social media, electronic, written, and oral communication – required. Proficiency with technology, data analysis and interpretation required. Ability to demonstrate adaptability to change required.

Desirable Qualifications

Experience with student advising desirable. Experience and knowledge of student information systems and advising platforms (Banner, EAB , PeopleSoft) desirable. Experience in recruitment desirable. Experience with event management programming and implementation desirable.

Anticipated Pay Range $80,000 to $85,000

Other Information

Special Conditions External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional evening and/or weekends required (if non-exempt position, may result in overtime), A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position
