About the Position:\ Assist the Facilities Coordinator in completing the room or office turnover process.

Implement preventative maintenance measures with current basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, locks, appliance repair, drywall, painting and finishing.

Complete quality maintenance repairs and facility tasks in a timely manner.

Provide input into facility and equipment related costs to ensure they are within budget.

Assist with the implementation of facility safety protocols and procedures; assist with training and oversee drill practices for each location.

Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.

Safely operate and maintain job related equipment.

Respond to emergency calls for facilities assistance.

Attend safety meetings and other related meetings; participates in training as required

Support and enforce agency policies, OSHA regulations, and agency health and safety guidelines

Other duties as assigned.\ \

What We Look For:

Strong background in all aspects of facilities and maintenance repair work related to building, equipment, and grounds. Prefer 1-2 years of experience working in a facilities/maintenance role.

Possession of basic tools required for proficient job performance

High school diploma/GED required

Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted and climb ladders

Valid VT Drivers License and access to reliable transportation required; travel between Lund locations required.

Ability to create positive rapport with clients, children, and employees in a residential setting
