Posting Summary
Facilitate and oversee human resources and business operations processes and functions in support of the College of Arts & Sciences ( CAS ) Business Office and college departments and programs. Interpret and communicate Human Resources (HR) personnel and recruitment policies and procedures to chairs, directors, faculty, and staff; analyze, maintain and report sensitive and confidential personnel information. Responsible for processing actions related to recruitments, appointments, reappointments, and hiring of faculty and staff; and compiling and reporting actions using PeopleAdmin and PeopleSoft human resources and other sources.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and one to three years of experience required. Working knowledge of software applications used to support area of operations. Proficiency with spreadsheets and database applications required. Effective analytical, communication and interpersonal skills required. Attention to detail and accuracy required.
Desirable Qualifications
Demonstrated proficiency utilizing software including Microsoft Teams and Office Suite, with intermediate ability in Excel. Excellent customer service, communications and interpersonal skills required; ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with high level of accuracy. Ability to prioritize effectively. Knowledge of PeopleSoft and PeopleAdmin desirable. Experience with human resource processing and transactions, and higher education administration desired. Human Resource experience in operations, recruiting/hiring and systems desired.
Anticipated Pay Range $25.50 - $29.00 hourly based on finalist’s experience
