Job Description:
Broadcom’s VCF division is seeking a Senior developer with extensive hands-on experience in developing ITSM solutions for large enterprise and cloud customers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to lead, architect and own feature development using cutting edge technologies, for a large application domain, working in cross-team and cross-geo environment.
The ideal candidate must have strong technical background and extensive hands on experience in ITSM integrations and solutions, designing and developing rich enterprise and cloud scale products using ServiceNow technologies and frameworks.
This is a senior technical position - active, current hands-on experience in design and development of product/features/services of moderate to high complexity, with full responsibility of delivering high quality software is an essential requirement.
Responsibilities :
• Design and implement effective solutions for complex features ensuring scalability, performance and security
• Work closely with cross functional distributed teams including product managers, product and solution architects, QA and build a strong personal brand association within the ecosystem.
• Strong technical leadership. Understand the overall strategy, direction and priorities of the business unit, customer requirements; provide hands-on technical leadership to R&D team, design and develop services,
• Lead design discussions and perform code reviews
• Lead customer troubleshooting sessions
• Represent engineering in customer and other stakeholder meetings.
• Maintain deep technical and business knowledge of the domain and market
• We believe that the Continuous integration and Test automation is the key to fast paced, high quality delivery. The candidate should have deep knowledge about unit and functional tests
• Work in an Agile development environment while continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes
Requirements:
• BTech/MTech Degree or equivalent in Computer Science
• 8+ years of experience with significant depth in architecting, designing and programming highly distributed, scalable and performing systems.
• Must have ServiceNow ITSM experience including
- Business Rule, Script Include, Service Catalog, Service Portal, UI Policies, Identification and reconciliation engine, Transform Map, Scoped applications, Catalog Client Scripts, REST APIs, Database concepts, Angular JS, CSS, Update sets
• Good to have ServiceNow ITSM skills
- ServiceNow database knowledge, Prior experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and ServiceNow certification process, UI development
• Should have been feature/component lead for several complex features
• Exposure to micro services architecture, Cloud computing, virtualization, containers technology and cloud scale design is a strong plus
• Prior hand-on experience in setting up or using CI/CD tools, test and automation frameworks; exposure to devops domain is a strong plus.
• Expertise in Java, Spring framework, REST APIs, Hibernate, JDBC, Python, Groovy, Go, database design, Postgres/MySQL; Exposure to Lucene (noSQL) is a plus.
• Innovative mindset – ability to provide new & innovative solutions for complex problems. Should be able to come up with quick POCs
• Should be able to provide estimates and help in technical planning and work break down
• Comfortable working with version control systems like Git. Religiously follow best practices
• Comfortable working with customers in troubleshooting issues is a must
• Experience in working with build tools like Maven, ANT and CI platforms like Jenkins

Compensation and Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $107,000 - $190,000
This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
