Role Description: The Research Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a pivotal role focused on generating and qualifying sales pipeline opportunities for Oracle’s Global Industry Unit (GIU). This role involves targeted outbound campaigns and research strategies to connect with prospective clients and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Generate high-quality leads and convert them into revenue.

  • Market Expansion: Contribute to industry market share growth through new client acquisition.

  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with global team members, sharing best practices and collaborating on strategies.

  • Account Research: Conduct thorough research and gather intelligence to understand industry trends and client needs.

  • Needs Qualification: Engage with prospects to uncover their business challenges and qualify their needs.

  • Product Knowledge: Build expertise in Oracle’s solutions and act as a trusted advisor to prospects.

  • Strategy Execution: Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute outbound campaigns aligned with the go-to-market strategy.

  • Data Analysis: Collect and interpret market data to identify opportunities and trends.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, or 5+ years of relevant work experience in outbound sales or business development roles.

  • Experience: 5+ years in market research, sales, or business development, with industry domain experience preferred.

  • Technology Experience: Not required, though familiarity with software and technology is a plus.

US: Hiring Range: from $22.26 to $34.86 per hour; from $46,300 to $72,500 per annum. May be eligible for equity. Eligible for commission with an estimated pay mix of 65/35.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
