Job Title: Finish Carpenter
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to join our team. Our projects are located in six counties, with most jobs in San Francisco. You will be expected to uphold and maintain our high quality construction standards, specifically in finish scopes. The role includes executing daily work plans, tracking work against the schedule, and regularly communicating with the foreman or superintendent. An important part of your role will also be advocating for job site safety.
Hard Skills
3+ years finish carpentry experience
3+ years high-end residential experience
Install experience of casing, baseboard, crown molding, paneling, doors, windows, siding and cabinets
Experience installing stairs
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
Possession of a full complement of tools, including specialty tools
Reliable transportation
Soft Skills
Punctuality
Ability to work both independently and in a team
Strong communication skills
Commitment to safety
Ability to manage projects
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Palo Alto, California & Hillsboro, CA! This position also requires traveling.
Work Environment
The successful candidate will be working with a small team of other carpenters, superintendents/foreman but will sometimes be operating independently with the expectation that they are able to carry out and progress a project by themselves.
