Who are we looking for?

GHD is looking for a Technical Engagement Specialist to join our team in Buffalo, NY! In this role, you will serve as a Lead & Copper (L&C) Business Development and Project Manager supporting various community, employee, and branding initiatives.

As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change.

Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Lead & Copper Program Management and Community Engagement including:
  • Understand and monitor all regulatory developments associated with the L&C Rule and updates including state and federal guidance
  • Support GHD's existing water clients develop deliver new LCRR compliance programs
  • Work closely with clients to oversee and direct various GHD subcontractors supporting the Lead initiative including public relations and community-based organizations
• Lead & Copper Program Business Development and GHD Brand Recognition including:
  • Submit abstracts, write papers, and make presentations at industry associations, conferences, and webinars
  • Keep abreast of industry developments associated with LCRR, Water Equity and Affordability to inform our clients and future pursuits
• Water Group Project Management including:
  • Write reports, present results, and attend client meetings
  • Manage project budgets, scope, and schedule
  • Manage A/R, billing, backlog, vendors, change orders and all other related project matters
  • Manage staffing assignments and resources

What you will bring to the team:

• Either a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or 10+ years of experience in a similar field in lieu of this degree
• Ability to demonstrate the leadership qualities required to manage projects,
• communicate effectively with clients and promote GHDs values and culture including Safety
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Salary Range: $70,800-$106,200 based on experience.
